M&M Buried Cable Services, now BoreWorx, was purchased by Maurice Rochon in 1975. The company’s first projects were conducting drops for Southwestern Bell. Over the next four decades, the company developed a reputation for completing projects safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively focusing on underground work for electrical, communications, and security companies around the Houston metro area. By the early ’90s, the company was engaged in horizontal directional drilling, an emerging trenchless technology that provided improved efficiency over open trench work. Over the next twenty plus years, the company successfully installed thousands of feet of conduit for companies of all types in Texas.
