Alan E. Adler, Architect (d.b.a. The Healthcare Collaborative) opened its doors in 1993. The firm originated in Lynchburg, Virginia in association with the Greenwood Partnership, an architecture and engineering firm founded by Alan Adler, AIA and four engineering partners in 1988. In 1993 Alan developed The Healthcare Collaborative’s healthcare market with Ray Hogan, former CEO of Centra Health Hospital System. Together they created a client base that has grown substantially over the years. In 1996 a second office was opened in Austin, Texas. Since then our firm has assembled a team of professional architects and engineers for the purpose of creating the best possible project delivery system. Healthcare is the firm’s primary focus; however, alternate markets are in constant development. While the firm has worked on virtually every building type, educational facilities and sports facilities have also become major additional focuses of the firm.
